A festoon of colourful wooden letters spells the words Happy Birthday. The letters are painted in pastel pinks, greens, yellows and blues and are decorated with swirls, stripes, spots, and flowers. Vess Soda’s billion bubble beverages were a popular range of carbonated soft drinks manufactured and distributed in the early and mid 1900′s primarily in St.Loius Missouri.
This original American 28 page card covered memo book, is in excellent unused condition.
The contents include 24 pages of ruled blank note pages, Ves product adverts, a grocery checklist, homemaker hints, and a chart to ceck your weight for age.

Vintage reproduction print of George Wolfe Plank VOGUE magazine cover Nov 15 1911 mounted in an aluminium frame
“Proud as a peacock” cover by American artist and illustrator George Wolfe Plank (1883-1965), which graced the November 15th 1911 and the April 1, 1918 issues of Vogue magazine.
The illustration depicts a glamorous woman sitting atop a rather splendid white peacock.The woman is cloaked in a dazzling black kimono with a red and gold turban while the peacock struts its stuff in a black choker, diamond earrings and feather tiara. Both admire their beauty in a gilt hand mirror.
This vintage facsimile print is mounted in aluminum and glass frame. In good condition. there are a couple of tiny age scratches to the base (not really noticeable) and light oxidization to back corner joiner.

In the Trafalgar bicentenary year of 2005, permission was granted for us to produce a limited edition of 1250 copies from the original pair of log pages. These facsimiles were for exclusive use within limited edition commemorative Nelson artworks.
Most of the edition were snapped up and sold (in less than an hour) through the QVC shopping channel. We retained just a few copies.These are now offered exclusively through Beeton and Brown as a truly unique and collectable investment.
